Here at Dovetail Building Services we love what we do and are passionate about delivering quality workmanship and customer service right from the outset of your building project, be it a small project such as hanging doors or a larger project such as a complete restoration or a new build. Our services
Bespoke
We are passionate about what we do and love working with wood, we have over the years built our fare share of bespoke items such as wardrobes, bespoke kitchens, tables, TV units, bi-fold doors, sheds, show stands and much more.
Brickwork & Flintwork
Jason started off in the building trade as a bricklayer and has built numerous extensions and new builds, he is also experienced in flint work. These days he concentrates more on the carpentry side of Dovetail Building Service’s.
Carpentry & Joinery
We offer a full range of Carpentry & Joinery skills to suit all budgets. Over the years we have learnt that using cheap or sub standard materials is counter productive. We use materials, which are the best available and are responsibly sourced.
Complete Restoration
We can bring your property back to it’s former glory, using traditional building methods combined with todays modern materials. Restoring a property takes passion, commitment and an eye for detail – we believe we have all three.
Extensions & Alterations
It can be a stressful time having an extension built or someone you’ve never met before knocking walls down. We understand this and pride ourselves on having a team of trustworthy, experienced and friendly trades people to work with you.
Flooring
Over the years real hardwood flooring has become increasingly popular. We love to work with different types of hardwood flooring now available on the market and find ourselves fitting more and more floors.
Kitchens
Our clients invest a lot of time and money into getting the perfect kitchen, it’s a show piece, a “wow” factor. We pride ourselves in giving you your dream kitchen, whether that be installation only or a completely bespoke kitchen.
Plastering
Plastering is a bit of a dark art, it takes years of practice and experience to end up with super smooth walls and ceilings. Whether it’s a small patching job, artex back to flat, or a complete house re-plaster we are more than capable of completing a first class finish.
